This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and well-known Events company based in Towcester, who are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join their rapidly expanding team on a part-time basis of 15 hours a week.

 

 

The Role

The Role:

  • The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio of experience demonstrating all round design skills including typography, layout and web design, designing everything from corporate logo’s to websites and smartphone apps.
  • You will be able to produce work to a very high standard across many platforms including traditional media and digital medians; from national press advertising to comprehensive glossy programmes and digital design including email campaigns and web graphics (google ads etc).
  • Office based, working closely with the team to create a whole range of online and printed material from posters, mailchimp emails, programmes, and exhibitions
  • Hours: 15 hours (hours can be flexible Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm)

The requirements of this position are

Required Skills:

  • Must be of graduate calibre and have a minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Expert in InDesign, Illustrator, Powerpoint and MS Word
  • Proven ability to print buy
  • Be able to work under pressure, with tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to prioritize and work as part of a team
  • Innovative and creative thinker
  • You will need be able to work alone with enthusiasm and have an eye for detail

 

Desired Skills:

  • Photoshop and Mailchimp
  • Some knowledge of UI design & motion graphics very beneficial

  • Confident, articulate and professional
  • Used to selling to C level individuals
  • Cold call and generate new leads and enquiries
  • Effectively manage your own sales pipeline to be successful
  • Understand all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set out on a monthly basis
  • Convert a targeted percentage of all outbound telephone calls to appointment and subsequent appointments to new opportunities
  • Well trained in sales and sales process
  • Stable career history
  • Must own car and hold a full clean driving licence

There is a competitive salary with a generous commission based on performance, and a clear progression and development plan. There is a significant potential to realistically earn up to £50k within the first year and progress onto a more senior role.

Reporting to the Senior Events Manager, the Customer Service & Events Assistant is responsible for supporting in organising and delivering exceptional awards, with a focus on the customer experience.

The Role

Main Responsibilities:

Awards Promotion

Phone Potential Awards Entrants

Be knowledgeable about the Awards Process, Categories, Judges and Partners to answer queries and assist with entry forms

Prepare Marketing Lists as required and correspond on the phone

Sales & Bookings

Make phone calls and send emails to Awards Finalists to encourage Ticket Bookings

Understand the Ticket Booking Process and assist Junior Events

Coordinator with sales during busy periods. Inclusive of updating Bookwhen, Phone Payments, Creating Receipts and keeping Ticket Master updated

Awards Events

Assist the Senior Events Manager in the delivery of successful local, regional and national Awards Events

Follow setting up processes and procedures from the Senior Events Co-ordinator to expected standards at Awards Events venues

Play a key role in the onsite events team and set a positive example for external support staff

Be aware of the Health and Safety requirements at each event venue

Be alert to any difficult queries which should be directed straight to a Senior member of the team

Assist with uploading Photos and Videos to the website following the awards and sending these to the relevant Partners and Winners.

Administration

Assist with Answering Phones in the office and passing queries to relevant members of the team.

Assist Junior Events Co-ordinator with office admin tasks and ensuring a tidy office environment

The requirements of this position are

The successful candidate will join the Awards Team at all Awards Nights and experience the set up and running of local and national business awards.
